'Things Wish Existed'

This painting was done using premium thick body oil paint, professionally stretched canvas. Manipulated with touches of paint with both brushstrokes and knife strokes (spatula), with the fat on lean technique, sometimes I wait weeks for the base coats dry to work on it, the result is diametrically opposed to other techniques: working my paintings with knife and playing with time allowed me to develop my own writing, but it took time, work and patience.
 
 
One day Beauty and Ugliness met on the shore.
And they said to each other, "Let's go swimming in the sea."
So they undressed and swam.
After a while the Ugly came back to shore;
She dressed in Beauty's clothes and walked on.
And beauty also came out of the sea, but did not find her clothes;
Because she was too shy to stay naked,
She dressed in the clothes of Laideur.
And Beauty continued on its way.
And from this day
Men and women take for each other.
However, there are those who have seen the face of Beauty,
And they recognize her despite her clothes.
And there are those who know the face of the Ugly,
And her clothes don't hide her from their eyes.
