This painting was done using premium thick body oil paint, professionally stretched canvas. Manipulated with touches of paint with both brushstrokes and knife strokes (spatula), with the fat on lean technique, sometimes I wait weeks for the base coats dry to work on it, the result is diametrically opposed to other techniques: working my paintings with knife and playing with time allowed me to develop my own writing, but it took time, work and patience.

A woman's heart does not change over time and does not change with the seasons. A woman's heart dies for a long time but does not die. A woman's heart resembles a desert when human beings take it for a field of battles and massacres. He tears up his trees, burns his herbs, defiles his stones with blood and in his soil he buries bones and skulls. Yet she remains peaceful and calm. In her, spring always remains spring and autumn remains autumn until the end of time. Khalil Gibran
